Quality Systems

The Quality Management System at the Warendorf kitchen factory was the first in the kitchen industry in Germany to receive certification for DIN ISO 9001 in 1992. Four years later the Environment Management System was audited within the framework of the European EG-Öko-Audit directive 1836/93. In 1996 the kitchen factory at Warendorf received DIN ISO 14001 certification for satisfying international environmental control standards.

All components and materials are carefully selected to ensure natural resources are used in a manner which does not adversely affect the environment. All bought-in items are selected using strict ecological criteria. The factory is continually striving to improve its quota of recycled materials, and packaging is frequently used more than once. The kitchen factory at Warendorf took a leading role in reducing its energy consumption levels over 10 years ago by installing heat exchangers to drastically reduce the amount of energy used by the boilers for heating.

The Warendorf factory was awarded with a distinction by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Selbständiger Unternehmer (ASU)" for its Management of environmental issues.
